This tile backer panel adopts dual waterproof design: modified waterproof gypsum core matched with fully water-resistant surface fiberglass mat. Tested in line with ASTM water absorption standards, the board only absorbs 5% moisture maximum, far superior to ordinary drywall. This outstanding water resistance makes it ideal for all wet zones with constant water splash and steam;

Installation skill standards are strict for this gypsum backer board, and proper joint treatment is critical for long service life. Unsealed gaps allow steam seepage to corrode the gypsum core, so we supply matching waterproof joint tape and sealant as supporting accessories for full waterproof system. Besides, flat and level substrate wall is required before mounting; uneven base will lead to uneven stress, resulting in long-term warping or surface cracking after tile laying
