Waterproof Backer Board Foam

The high-density extruded closed-cell structure, with a closed-cell rate of >99%, ensures that the internal air bubbles are completely independent and do not communicate with each other. This makes the Waterproof Backer Board Foam absorb zero water, prevent water vapor from penetrating, block groundwater vapor and indoor vapor infiltration during use. Its dense structure provides strong compressive strength, preventing collapse under long-term pressure. Its inherent thermal insulation properties reduce condensation on walls, and its chemically stable properties make it resistant to acids, alkalis, corrosion, and aging.

The surface of the Waterproof Backer Board Foam is made of alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh, which forms a two-way tensile structure during use. This prevents cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction, as well as tearing due to slight wall settlement. It greatly improves the board's bending and impact resistance, firmly locks the composite structure, and prevents delamination and peeling.

How are the core material and the mesh fabric combined? This is where the polymer waterproof mortar coating comes in. The double-sided modified waterproof mortar hardened layer is dense and non-porous, ensuring a smooth surface without hollow areas or peeling. The three-layer structure is tightly composited, forming a complete protective system that blocks moisture, strengthens the structure, and seals the surface. This fundamentally solves the problems of mold, water seepage, peeling, and rotting in damp environments.
